The District of Columbia is implementing Live Well DC, a comprehensive wellness campaign to cultivate a culture of wellness where people live, work, learn, and play. Live Well DC is using media for public education, exploring limiting tobacco access through zoning/license restrictions, restricting point-of-purchase advertising of tobacco products, supporting the elimination of price discounts, and providing social support through quitline and other cessation services.
