Community-wide strategies include releasing a "Food Fight" educational campaign and creating an initiative to enhance infrastructure to support bicycling and walking. School-based strategies will increase student input in food and beverage choices and use student-grown produce. The project is also implementing strategies that focus on neighborhoods in need by improving community policing to create safe places to walk, connecting neighborhoods to walking trails, and implementing "Healthy in a Hurry" corner stores to increase the availability of healthy foods in undeserved neighborhoods.
