The Downtown Gilroy Farmers’ Market in Gilroy, CA and the Fairground Outdoor Farmers’ Market in San Jose, CA started accepting CalFresh at their markets in 2012. Each market serves an area in Santa Clara County that will help provide fresh fruits and vegetables to low income community members. The expansion of CalFresh to these farmers' markets was made possible through the Communities Putting Prevention to Work grant.

In addition to its Find the Fun Now website, there's now a free iPhone app to find active, fun things to do and fresh, healthy foods to eat anywhere in Pinellas--on the go. The Android version will be available later in March.
