The Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County, Inc. will host an Early Childhood Conference, "Get Movement into Your Classroom and Add Sizzle to Your Circle" on Saturday, August 18 at St. Petersburg College, Gibbs Campus. The conference runs from 8:30 am- 3:30 pm and will feature keynote speaker, Pam Powers, a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer for over twenty five years. In addition the conference will host a variety of workshops, several of which will be led by CPPW partners, addressing childhood obesity, music and movement, nutrition, transitions, healthy habits for life, the importance of reading, and building classroom relationships. This is sure to be an energy packed day full of lots of tips and great information for working successfully with kids in learning environments. Providers can register at  www.elcpinellas.net.
