Fit 2 Live @ Laman! is a partnership between Fit 2 Live and the William F. Laman Library.  Fit 2 Live @ Laman! is a once-a-month series in which library patrons learn about nutrition, exercise options, healthy grocery choices, meal planning and more.

Fit 2 Live @ Laman! began on August 7, 2012 with a screening and panel discussion of the 4-part HBO documentary "The Weight of the Nation."

Upcoming events include:

November 20, 2012

Get Fit with Unity Martial Arts (Patrons can watch or participate in a free Martial Arts class!)

December 18, 2012

“Holiday Treats and Food Safety – Be Smart, Keep Foods Apart!” with Lameria Colclough-Triplett, County Extension Agent, Pulaski County Extension Service

“We are excited to embark on this partnership with Laman Library. It is a win-win for the city and its residents. What better place to learn about making healthier choices in our lives, than the public library,” says Bernadette Gunn Rhodes, Fit 2 Live Coordinator.

The events take place every third Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
