A time to debunk the myths of aging, to proclaim that it’s not too late to take control of your health and it’s never too late to get started on something new!
Just as the children in your community head back to school with a new purpose and sense of adventure, this September encourage people of all ages to rejuvenate and take action on positive measures that can impact the areas of physical, social, financial and mental wellness. The National Institute on Aging has great resources, including:
Exercise, good nutrition, regular health screenings, getting vaccines, having enough sleep, and participating in activities you enjoy are just a few ways to promote healthy aging. How will you support the aging population in your community?
