Higher Gas Prices May Have a Bright Spot

Less people are driving their cars in Pinellas County according to the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority in a recent article in the Tampa Bay Times.

More people are taking the bus because it is a cheaper mode of transportation. That means more walking as people walk to work from their bus stops and back again. And more walking means a healthier lifestyle and we all know that is a good thing. So, there is a bright spot to those rising gas prices after all!  Why not take a moment to think of when you can walk rather than ride?  It'll definitely save gas and it just might save your health!
