St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market Doubles SNAP Dollars

The St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market is offering a great deal for the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP)...$10.00 in SNAP will buy $20.00 worth of food!  Available purchases include: fruits and vegetables, breads, meat, fish, dairy products, baked goods, soups, seeds and plants that grow food, and lots more!
The SNAP/EBT card can be used to purchase $1, $3, or $5 tokens and the tokens act as cash at the market. You just swipe $10.00 in benefits and get $20.00 in tokens.

The tokens can be accepted at any tent that displays the "SNAP/EBT Tokens Accepted Here" sign. The Saturday Morning Market is located in the Al Lang Stadium Parking Lot at 1st Avenue South and 1st Street Southeast in downtown St. Petersburg.  The hours of operation are 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and the market runs from October through May.
