The City of Clearwater, Florida's  Wheels @ Work Bike Sharing program kicked off on Monday, July 16. This "employee only" bicycle share program is designed to increase physical activity among city employees. Employees have the ability to borrow the bikes for short business trips, personal fitness or even for running errands during lunch or break times during normal business hours. In order to qualify for participation in the program, employees must complete an on-line safety survey and information guide and waiver covering basic bicycle safety and all state laws governing bicycle use. Employees may check out one of four beach cruisers or even an adult tricycle. It's all about free rides, fresh air and feeling good. The City of Clearwater is a partner in the Pinellas County CPPW program.

Learn more about what communities are doing to help schools become places where students not only learn about the importance of eating healthier and being more physically active but, in fact, eat healthier and move more.
